Data We Collect
Hunt64 collects only the data necessary to provide our service:
- Account information (email, username, display name)
- Collection data (cars you add, photos, notes, price paid)
- Location (used for nearby swap features, only distance between collectors is shared)
- Photos you upload (collection photos, scanned card images for OCR)
- Device push notification tokens
- Usage analytics (anonymized app usage patterns)
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to:
- Provide and improve the Hunt64 service
- Sync your collection across devices
- Enable social features (following, sharing, community feed)
- Show nearby collectors for swapping
- Send push notifications (likes, follows, activity updates)
- Scan car packaging via OCR to identify models
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We use the following third-party services to operate Hunt64:
- Supabase (database, authentication, file storage)
- Google Cloud Vision (OCR for card scanning)
- RevenueCat (in-app purchase management)
We may share anonymized, aggregate data for analytics purposes. Your collection is private by default unless you choose to make it public.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.
Your Rights
You can keep your collection private at any time by setting your profile visibility from Profile > Settings.
You can export your collection data at any time from the app. To delete your account and all associated data, go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account.
