Data We Collect

Hunt64 collects only the data necessary to provide our service:

  • Account information (email, username, display name)
  • Collection data (cars you add, photos, notes, price paid)
  • Location (used for nearby swap features, only distance between collectors is shared)
  • Photos you upload (collection photos, scanned card images for OCR)
  • Device push notification tokens
  • Usage analytics (anonymized app usage patterns)

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

  • Provide and improve the Hunt64 service
  • Sync your collection across devices
  • Enable social features (following, sharing, community feed)
  • Show nearby collectors for swapping
  • Send push notifications (likes, follows, activity updates)
  • Scan car packaging via OCR to identify models

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We use the following third-party services to operate Hunt64:

  • Supabase (database, authentication, file storage)
  • Google Cloud Vision (OCR for card scanning)
  • RevenueCat (in-app purchase management)

We may share anonymized, aggregate data for analytics purposes. Your collection is private by default unless you choose to make it public.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

Your Rights

You can keep your collection private at any time by setting your profile visibility from Profile > Settings.

You can export your collection data at any time from the app. To delete your account and all associated data, go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account.

Browser Extension (Price Peek)

The Hunt64 Price Peek browser extension sends the title of the marketplace listing you are viewing (and nothing else: no page content, no account details, no identifiers) to hunt64.app to look up community price medians for that car. Lookups are not linked to you and are not stored beyond standard, short-lived request logs. The extension has no analytics and requires no account.
